Hexastash
Yet another modular spice rack.
Features
- Modular design
- Hexagonal shape
- Vertical stacking
- Small angled slots for easy bottle docking
- Customizable with SCAD file
Assembly
Important notes:
- Modules are not symmetrical.
- Design is optimized for vertical stacking with a small angle. When assembling, ensure the straight edges on the front side are directed downwards.
Assembly order matters. You can assemble either from top to bottom or from bottom to top. It's not possible to insert new modules between installed upper and lower modules.
Be cautious when assembling, as the edges are sharp and may scratch you.
Sizes and Customization
- My bottle dimensions are 60 mm in diameter and 100 mm in height. This design accommodates these measurements.
- You can modify all sizes by editing the SCAD file and rendering your own STL files.
- Key parameters to adjust:
inner_diameterinner_depthring_sizeside_holes_radius
Printing
- Optimized for a layer thickness of 0.2 mm
- PLA and PETG both work well
- No supports are required
- Brim is recommended
